Stretching can help relieve muscle tightness, release emotional stress and prevent injuries. The stretches in the below video are organized to help new moms relieve tension in the upper body, hips and thighs, which can get tight from carrying and picking up your babe, breastfeeding and from daily activities such as sitting. Stretching - and remembering to breathe while stretching - can also help alleviate emotional stress. You can complete this stretch sequence in just 6 minutes or extend it for a more relaxing session.
