Things to Do in Williamsburg, Brooklyn with a Baby
We used to live in Manhattan and would spend a lot of our weekend time just over the bridge in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Now, when we go up for a visit with the babe, we often don’t even go into the city. Williamsburg has such a great vibe, everything you need and is extremely baby friendly.
Here’s what we did on a recent visit:
There are seriously so many amazing restaurants in Williamsburg. Here are some that we enjoy:
Egg Shop - on our most recent visit, Grace and I ate here 2 out of 3 days. It is a super yummy brunch spot (as long as you like eggs). Get there early to beat the crowds.
The Butcher’s Daughter - a plant-based eatery with super dreamy vibes.
The Meatball Shop - I love this place, it’s a no frills spot to get local, farm fresh veggies and protein in just about any combo you’d like (even vegan).
As you guys know, running is my favorite way to explore a city. Rent a jogging stroller or enlist your loved one to babysit and run solo down the Brooklyn Greenway. You could also take your babe in for baby and me yoga at Kula Yoga Project or ask your traveling buddies for some time off and check out a high-intensity, high-vibe class at Soul Cycle or SLT.
If you’re able to step away for an hour or two, head to Maha Rose for a healing session (technically in Greenpoint), you’ll feel like a whole new mama.
Take the East River Ferry to DUMBO or to Manhattan.
